Notice is hereby given that the electronic ballot counters to be used in the General Municipal Election, to be held on August 26, 2025, will be tested on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at 2:00 p.m., at the Dallas County Courthouse (Annex), located at 102 Church Street, Selma, AL 36701.
The City of Selma has received a $2 million grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to implement a Lead Hazard Reduction Grant Program aimed at reducing housing-related health and safety hazards.
Homeowners and rental property owners within the Selma limits may qualify for grants to fund improvements. A list of potential items that qualify:
