The Personnel Department coordinates the hiring process for all positions, except seasonal positions. Individuals seeking employment must possess the minimum requirements for positions posted. All announced positions are centrally posted in our Personnel Department at City Hall. Applications and resumes are accepted only for posted positions. All postings will indicate the opening and closing date. Therefore, applicants interested in working for the City of Selma must comply with these dates in order to be considered.

Applications mailed to the Personnel Office must be postmarked on or before the closing date indicated on the announcement or advertisement. All applications must be mailed or returned to the Personnel Department by the closing date deadline specified on the job announcement.
