  • Driver License Traffic Offenses – $197.00
  • DUI – $527.00
  • Misdemeanor Cases – $191.00
  • Drug Possession – $330.00

Jail Term & Fine Limits

  • Class A Misdemeanor – 1 year/$5,000.00
  • Class B Misdemeanor – 6 months/$1000.00
  • Class C Misdemeanor – 3 months/$500.00
  • Violation – 30 days/$200.00
  • Municipal Ordinance Violation – 6months/ $500.00

To Pay Citations

  • To pay citations, sign warrants and to inquire about a case or documents, please visit our Municipal Court office. We only accept money orders at this time.

Ways to pay Red Light Camera Tickets:

  • We only accept money orders in our office at this time. One can bring it in personally, have someone to bring it for you, or send in through the mail to:

  • Include your name, citation number/ case number if you know it.

WE ONLY ACCEPT COMPLAINTS/ TICKETS GIVEN BY:

  • City of Selma Police Officers
  • City of Selma Code Enforcement Officers
  • City of Selma Business License Inspector

Unable to Pay Fines and Court Cost

In an event that you are unable to pay your ticket before your court date, you can appear in court and ask to be placed on a payment plan. Please come to court to avoid the FTA process. If one misses court twice after being notified, a warrant will be issued. It is the defendants’ responsibility to update your address.
