Reports to: Public Works- Cemetery – Recreation Directors
Department: Public Works- Cemetery- Recreation
Location: 4555 Water Avenue- 300 Dallas Ave – 108 West Dallas Ave, Selma Alabama
Status: Regular, Full-time
Schedule: Monday- Friday / 7:00am – 3:00pm
Rate of Pay: $12.00 – $16.00 per hour
Job Summary:
- Performs a variety of duties in street maintenance including working with concrete and sewer lines.
- Sweeping and cleaning streets.
- Perform operator maintenance including checking oil and other fluid levels.
- Perform building maintenance including removing trash from buildings and moving items to storage or to other locations.
- Assist with all other duties related to the Public Works. functions.
Requirements:
- Have a high school diploma or GES
- some related training or experience preferred
- Ability to work in various extremes of weather
- Ability to work non-standard hours including holidays and weekends.
- Must possess a valid Alabama Driver License or State issued ID.
