Status: Regular, Part-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday; some weekends and holidays
Pay Rate: $12.00 per hour
Job Summary
The Lifeguard (Spring-Summer 2026 Hire) ensures the safety of patrons at the aquatic facility by monitoring pool and splash pad areas, enforcing safety rules, responding to emergencies, and maintaining a clean and orderly environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor swimming and splash pad areas for safety
- Enforce pool rules and warn patrons of unsafe behavior
- Respond to emergencies and perform rescues and first aid
- Assist with swim lessons as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of pool areas and complete required reports
Requirements:
- Must be at least 16 years’ old
- Lifeguard training completed
- CPR and First Aid certification required (AED preferred)
- Ability to communicate effectively with patrons of all ages
- Physically fit and able to work scheduled shifts
